Beautiful day for much of the Eastern US. Some exceptions along the SE coast, Pacific NW and across the northern Plains. In particular the northern Plains and northern MS Valley is looking at a SLIGHT to ENHANCED RISK of severe thunderstorms with large hail and high winds the biggest threats. Tornadoes are the secondary threat.

OK Upstate NY you’ve been waiting for this. It is here! Beautiful weather continues for much of the eastern and central US. Severe weather in the high Plains to the northern Mississippi Valley today and especially tomorrow. Some changes next week but not as dramatic as first feared.

Beautiful weather ahead for upstate NY, New England, the Great Lakes, and even throughout the Ohio Valley and the Mid-Atlantic.

An ENHANCED RISK of severe weather exists across much of the Southeast US this afternoon and tonight. Please have multiple ways to get weather warnings. Lingering rains this weekend over the Ohio Valley, Mid Atlantic and southern New England, especially Saturday, but some will linger into Mother’s Day. Next week looks especially warm and summerlike for areas east of the Rockies!

Cinco de mayo weather will be nice on the east coast. Severe storms brewing again from Texas to the lower Mississippi Valley.

Scattered thunderstorms across most of the Southeast US today, but the biggest threat, tornadoes, Oklahoma and Texas this afternoon.

Be on the lookout along the I-65 corridor from Indianapolis through Louisville to Bowling Green, KY for storms with damaging winds.
