Biden Celebrates Record High Gas Prices, As ‘Incredible Transition’ Americans Must Go Through

Published on

Joe Biden is completely out of touch with reality as he continues to downplay the recent gas crisis by telling Americans that we’re going through an “incredible transition” that we should be proud of.

“[When] it comes to the gas prices, we’re going through an incredible transition that is taking place that, God willing, when it’s over, we’ll be stronger and the world will be stronger and less reliant on fossil fuels when this is over,” Biden said during a press conference in Japan following his meeting with Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.

Things are so bad at the pump that the Biden Administration has changed its rhetoric from “prices will go down” to hey, at least we’re going to “keep it from getting worse”.

During the press conference while in Japan, Biden then went on to tell childhood stories about the pain he and his family suffered growing up and the conversations they supposedly had around the dinner table about the price of gas. Yeah, because that’s what families talk about during dinner…

“The price of gas at the pump is something that I told you — you heard me say before — it would be a matter of great discussion at my kitchen table when I was a kid growing up,” Biden said before admitting, “It’s affecting a lot of families.”

So, there you have it America, Joe Biden, the oracle of hope for all, has graced us with his calming presence to remind us that we should be thankful to the ‘almighty one’ that things aren’t getting worse.

The only problem is things continue to get much worse. Literally, as Biden spoke, the average cost of a gallon of gas nationwide sat at $4.596 per gallon. Several states are seeing an average cost of more than $5, while California’s average cost sits just above $6, according to AAA.

A Mobile station at La Cienega and Beverly boulevards, near the Beverly Center, advertised $7.29 for a gallon of regular gas, another 10 centers for Special grade gas, and $7.49 for Super + gas.

On average, a gallon of regular gas in Los Angeles County is $6.03. This is the 19th day in a row that LA County gas prices have continued their relentless rise, and it’s the first time they’ve surpassed $6 since April 1.

Republicans blasted the president on social media, with many accusing Biden of celebrating the higher gas prices as Democrats continue to push a radical environmental agenda.

“Democrats are celebrating the higher gas prices Americans are paying,” the National Republican Congressional Committee tweeted.

“Biden refers to the skyrocketing gas prices as an ‘incredible transition.’ They’re saying the quiet part out loud now,” House Minority Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.) wrote. “They’re causing you pain at the pump because it’s all part of their radical agenda.”

“Allow me to translate this: The Biden Administration is prepared to let your family suffer economically to advance their climate agenda,” Texas Republican congressional candidate Wesley Hunt posted. “It’s a ‘transition,’ alright. A transition into poverty. This is socialism.”
