Yeah, it was a hot week last week and especially the week before. It was a hot July, a record in some locations, but a lot of places that have monthly heat records from 1980, 1988, 1995, and 2012… those records are still standing. Some by very comfortable margins.
So what’s the big emergency???
Could it be Biden’s poll numbers are below freezing??? I’ve seen as low as 31 percent! That’s cold!
So I’m going to go once again back to my roots as a Meteorologist. I’ve been one for 25 years. We’re always wrong to some people. If I had a dollar for every time I’ve heard “You have the greatest job in the world. You get to be wrong X% of the time and still have a job” I would be independently wealthy. But yet when climate stories come up, we continue to accept it as Gospel. Way too many of us. I’ve been guilty of this at times. Is it because it came from CNN? Because “government experts” said so? Here’s something for you to consider: The two most popular words for a news anchor or reporter to use are “experts say”.
So if we Meteorologists are right 95% of the time at 1 day, 90% at 2 days, going down to 50% at 7 days… at what point does the accuracy go back up towards 100%? What is that point? 1 year? 5 years? 10 years? How does accuracy increase the farther out that you go? I thought I learned something about “entropy” in school? I thought that was a law. So we can defy this law like we can redefine gender and recession? I’m confused! So if we can ignore the law of entropy, we just solved our accuracy problem! I can be 100% accurate all the time! Wow!
Why don’t I believe that? Crazy I know.

Because assumptions I make today sometimes don’t work out tomorrow. You know what they say about assumptions, right?

Whom? What credentials? Whom exactly are all these “experts”? And what is their track record on predictions? Have the predictions been perfect? Uh, no. And how come these folks get to hide behind “expert” but someone like me whom is not an “expert” when compared to PhDs gets a rectal exam? Ok so a BS can’t speak, an MS maybe and a PhD probably? Ok, got it.
BUT EXPERTS SAY…
This next Global Climate Change story is real this time! We have to go green, pay $10/gallon for gas, buy a $100k electric vehicle powered by coal and natural gas power plants, and we will be one with the environment! We’ll be in utopia! Okay.
BUT EXPERTS SAY…
How come they say nothing about common sense things we can do, like adaptation! We’ve done it for centuries, but no one is talking about it now. That’s strange!
BUT EXPERTS SAY…
The science is settled! No more room for debate. There is nothing left to debate. Shut up and obey! Let’s see how that worked out recently with:
- Two weeks to stop the spread
- Masks work to reduce spread by 80%
- Get vaccinated and you won’t get COVID
- It’s a pandemic of the unvaccinated
- The vaccine does not impact a woman’s menstrual cycle
All told to us to be FACT. Like 2+2 = 4. How does that square up to today? Yeah. Uh, no.
Anyone who shuts down any scientific debate, study, analysis, is not an actual scientist but a POLITICAL scientist. Two totally different things. And anyone whom is for shutting down debate over anything should be avoided.
How about this: ANY CLIMATE CHANGE STORY FROM NOW ON WE LOOK AT LIKE THE WEATHER FORECAST. Taking bets on how wrong these predictions for Armageddon will be, will probably be the right call at the end of the day.
Not immediately trusting anything coming from the government and those associated with the UN, WEF and Globalists, I believe, is a wise way to go. Except when warnings for floods, thunderstorms, tornadoes and hurricanes come up. Those you should always take seriously.
