CONFUSED JOE: Doesn’t Know If He’s Going To Saudi Arabia Or What He’s Going For

President Biden, who’s at his wit’s end with sinking approval ratings and skyrocketing oil prices, has decided that he wants to visit Saudi Arabia soon to request that its crown prince, Mohammad Bin Salman, bring oil and gas prices down for Americans.

The only problem with the President’s strategy is that the crown prince isn’t too fond of Joe, especially with respect to the Yemen war and the 2018 murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi. Joe Biden further soured relationships between the United States and Saudi Arabia when he continually referred to the Kingdom as a ‘pariah’ while on the campaign trail in 2020.

President Biden was asked on Sunday whether he had decided to visit Saudi Arabia to beg the leaders there to release more oil.

“Have you decided whether or not to go to Saudi Arabia,” a reporter asked Biden.

“No, not yet,” Biden answered.

Just a few seconds later, as Biden continued to speak with reporters on the tarmac in Los Angeles prior to boarding Air Force One, he was asked why he wasn’t going to Saudi Arabia, with the national average price for a gallon of gas topping $5 for the first time ever.

“What would be holding up the decision at this point? Are there commitments that you’re waiting for from the Saudis?” a reporter asked.

Joe Biden then shifted focus away from oil and attempted to put the emphasis on a larger meeting that also happens to be taking place in Saudi Arabia around the same time he was originally planning on going to discuss the oil crisis.

“It happens to be a larger meeting taking place in Saudi Arabia. That’s the reason I’m going,” he said. “It has to do with national security for them [and] for Israelis … It has to do with much larger issues than having to do with the energy.”

The Republican National Committee noted Biden’s contradictory answers on social media. “Joe Biden says he hasn’t decided whether to visit Saudi Arabia, who he previously called ‘a pariah,’ to beg for more oil. 20 seconds later, he says, ‘It happens to be a larger meeting taking place in Saudi Arabia. That’s the reason I’m going.’”

Whether the President’s answer was already pre-scripted by his handlers to save face or if Joe is just really that clueless as to why he’s going to Saudi Arabia, either way, once again the Biden Administration doesn’t appear to have a real clear plan on how to handle the raging oil crisis that so many American’s are suffering from here on home soil.
