So much for the American Dream. Ford Ford Motor Company is the latest example of what it means to sell out the American People for a quick political buck!

According to new reporting from Reuters, around 8,000 Ford employees’ jobs are on the line as the automaker bends over to President Joe Biden’s attempt to transition from fossil fuels to alternative energy. I guess “Made In America” now comes with the sacrifice of being “fired in America.”

According to Reuters, the 8,000 Ford jobs in jeopardy are part of “a bid to reduce costs and intensify its focus on electric vehicles” and will be made to “Ford’s salaried workforce, as well as the Ford Blue unit created in March to run the company’s internal combustion engine operations.” The positions to be eliminated have, according to Reuters’ sources, not been finalized but the cuts “are likely to begin this summer.”

Despite its apparent need to cut jobs in order to make their “transition” happen, a spokesman for Ford happily explained that “[t]o deliver our Ford+ transformation and lead this exciting and disruptive new era of electric and connected vehicles, we remain focused on reshaping our work and modernizing our organization across all automotive business units and across the company.” The spokesman added that Ford has “laid out clear targets to lower our cost structure to ensure we are lean.”

Basically, Ford has just admitted that they are willing to sell out America to meet Biden’s New Green Deal project which comes at a time when Americans are already struggling financially due to skyrocketing gas prices and 40+ year record high inflation rates.

The cost to Ford isn’t cheap either. Planning to spend $50 billion on EVs over the next four years, Ford has acknowledged that their “transitioned” electric vehicle operation won’t even be profitable until at least 2025, per Reuters.

Critics are questioning the transition suggesting that even after Ford fires 8,000 hard-working American employees and spends $50 billion on transitioning from gas to electric that Americans still won’t be able to afford an elective vehicle.

The average cost of a higher-end electric vehicle comes in at a whopping $77,400 for a 2022 Lucid Air. Sure you can go much cheaper for a basic EV starting at $27,400 for a 2022 Nissan Leaf, but the average max mileage on a lower-end vehicle gets you anywhere from 114 to 259. I think my golf cart gets better mileage than that on the golf course.

The hypocrisy with Joe Biden has also been on full display as he praised Ford for the move while completely ignoring Elon Musk’s continued investment in EVs without the need to sacrifice a single American employee. The only difference between Tesla and Ford is that Tesla can’t be bought by the corrupt powers to be, but Ford, well, we clearly now see where their loyalty lies – and it’s not with its employees or the American people for that fact.

While Biden has not been asked directly about Ford’s planned layoffs to meet Biden’s call for an energy “transition,” it’s unlikely the America-last President will ever admit that the point of his “Build Back Better” agenda was to actually kill off American jobs along with American energy rather than move the country in the prosperous direction his predecessor worked so hard to achieve.

But are we surprised? On Biden’s first day in office, he struck off tens of thousands of jobs in the energy sector with a barrage of Executive Orders that completely undid Former President Donald Trump’s 4 years of hard work at putting America first.
