Our friends to the North seem to be having a bit of an issue with a tyrannical government that continues to have a tense stronghold on the nation. From Covid lockdowns to mandatory vaccines, Justin Trudeau is on a mission to destroy the freedoms of the Canadian people, and it’s to the point now, where he doesn’t even care to hide his radical agenda.

We saw evidence of this during the Ottawa Trucker Convoy when Trudeau double-downed on his aggression toward the Canadian people. It concerned me to be honest, as the first thought that crossed my mind was, that this is a little too close to home.

But on Monday, while Americans were honoring its fallen soldiers, Trudeau quietly snuck in one of the strictest gun control measures in a generation.

Trudeau on Monday introduced strict new gun control measures that completely caps “the market for handguns.”

“What this means is that it will no longer be possible to buy, sell, transfer, or import handguns anywhere in Canada,” Trudeau said at a press conference.

“We recognize that the vast majority of gun owners use them safely and in accordance with the law, but other than using firearms for sport shooting and hunting, there is no reason anyone in Canada should need guns in their everyday lives.”

If the bill passes, the government is also hoping to set up a buyback program for “assault-style” weapons, which were banned two years ago.

“The first AR-15s and other assault-style firearms will start to be bought back by the end of this year,” said Canadian Minister of Public Safety Marco Mendicino. “It’s going to be hard, but we’re going to get it done.”

He called the measure Canada’s “most significant action on gun violence in a generation,” yet critics are referring to the bill as Canada’s ‘strictest gun control measure in a generation.’

Canada, unlike America, doesn’t have a second amendment right, and although this piece of tyrannical legislation has absolutely nothing to do with the United States, Americans need to pay attention to what’s going on up North. After all, look what just happened in Australia and the UK. Canada is following the same playbook of liberal insanity, and America could be next.

Sure enough, Joe Biden is already trying to ban handguns now, yes, handguns, and seems to be following Trudeau’s lead on gun control with similar rhetoric now.

President Biden on Monday took aim at 9mm handguns, appearing to suggest that the “high-caliber weapons” ought to be banned.

The president made the remarks outside the White House after returning from a visit to the site of a mass shooting in Texas where 21 people, including 19 elementary school children, were killed last week.

Instead of focusing on the mental health crisis that plagues America among teenagers, the Democrats were quick to politicize the tragedy and completely ignore the real root of the problem.

First, it was assault rifles, and now it’s high-caliber weapons. When you give the Democrats an inch, they will always push for a mile, which is why we need to shut down the debate now before we find ourselves in a similar situation as those who have already been stripped of the right to defend themselves.

Hopefully, Canadians will come to their senses and get rid of their dictator before he completely destroys what little freedoms they have left. And as far as America is concerned, we better start paying attention, because we may find ourselves fighting to own even a BB gun real soon if we’re not careful.
