The divider in chief is at it again with his divisive hate and anti-republican rhetoric, only this time he took aim at half the country on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” I find it interesting that the President hasn’t done a live network interview in 118 days, but suddenly finds time for Kimmel? I digress…
President Biden, while in Los Angeles for the Summit Of Americas, took a minute out of his “ever so busy schedule” to kick off his first in-person appearance on a late-night talk show by pushing stricter gun control measures with comedian and host Jimmy Kimmel. Immediately Biden thew punches at Republicans saying, “A lot of it is intimidation by the NRA. Look, this is not your father’s Republican Party. This is a MAGA party.”

Kimmel decided to join in on the fun and take cheap shots at Trump questioning Biden about the possibility of issuing an executive order on gun control, saying former President Donald Trump “passed those out like Halloween candy.”
The president responded, “I have issued executive orders within the power of the presidency to be able to deal with everything having to do with guns, gun ownership… all of the things that are within my power.”
Biden then took a cheap shot at Trump suggesting that the former President abused the constitution while in office. “What I don’t want to do is emulate Trump’s abuse of the constitution and constitutional authority… If we do the same thing they do our democracy will be in jeopardy.”
Kimmel, in a desperate attempt to support the leftist narrative, asked Biden “Shouldn’t we demand that every Senator in the United States sit with those families?”, referring to the Uvalde, Texas shooting. Kimmel failed, however, to discuss the fact that President Biden never went to Waukesha to visit the families of the 6 killed by a black man who mowed down several people during a Christmas Parade. Kimmel also failed to bring up any of the other mass shootings or hate crimes that involved other races either where Democrats said nothing, nor did he ask Biden why he never discusses shootings that don’t fit the Democrat’s narrative while on the topic of suggesting that Senators “do more”.
Biden’s appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” comes amid a perilous time for his presidency. Biden’s approval rating plummeted to 39% towards the end of May in an AP-NORC poll, his worst mark since entering the White House. An ABC-IPSOS poll published Sunday found that just 28% of Americans approve of Biden’s handling of inflation and 27% approve of his response to rising gas prices.
President Biden did not have to stay up past his 6’Oclock bedtime to join Kimmel as the show was pre-recorded mid-afternoon for late-night television.
