LGBTQ Civil Rights Group Outraged That Twitter Refuses To Remove MTG ‘Transphobic’ Tweets

According to a hit piece on Marjorie Taylor Greene that Liberal media Axios put out on Monday, the freedom-fighting Congresswoman from Georgia is getting slack for once again exercising her first amendment right on Twitter.

Twitter on Monday labeled but refused to take down a pair of what they deem as “hateful” tweets attacking Adm. Rachel Levine, the assistant secretary for health for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

While the LGBTQ community continues to cry over spilled milk, Twitter has decided to defend Greene’s first amendment right by allowing the “transphobic” tweets to remain.

MTG was responding to a recent MSBNC interview when the transgender U.S. Assistant Health Secretary called for laws to “support and empower” youths “to get gender affirmation treatment.”

Greene responded to the highly inappropriate and shocking interview, “We must do everything we can to prevent Dr. Dick Levine’s pre-teen #WeenieChop.”

The Republican Congresswoman from Georgia followed up with a second tweet, “Now that I think about it. As Dr. Dick Levine advocates for “gender-affirming care” for minors, has he undergone the #WeenieChop himself? Or is he just pushing this on children?”

GLAAD, the LGBTQ civil rights group, condemned Twitter’s move as inadequate.

“This account has repeatedly and intentionally violated Twitter’s Hateful Conduct guidelines against targeted deadnaming and misgendering of transgender people,” a GLAAD spokesperson told Axios. “It’s clear that some politicians see pushing malicious, anti-trans content on social media as part of their election strategy, even with the full knowledge that such content is violative.”

Regardless of the fact that the LGBTQ community is furious over the fact that Twitter refuses to take down Greene’s post, the big tech giant has concluded that the only thing Marjorie Taylor Greene is guilty of is exercising her first amendment right.

Twitter slapped an explanation as to why they allowed the “transphobic tweet” to remain. “This Tweet violated the Twitter Rules about hateful conduct. However, Twitter has determined that it may be in the public’s interest for the Tweet to remain accessible,” the warning read.
