NY Post Employee Hijacks Twitter Account With Series of Violent, Vulgar Headlines

Published on

An obviously disgruntled employee hijacked the New York Post’s Twitter account Thursday morning, posting a series of disgusting tweets masquerading as Op-Ed headlines calling for the murder of various top politicians.

The takeover appears to have started just after 9 a.m. ET with a series of tweets about Pres. Biden, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Mayor Eric Adams, and migrants at the southern border, among others.

Many of the tweets called for violence; others were racially or sexually vulgar.

WARNING! VIEWER DISCRETION ADVISED:

One tweet read: “Zeldin: I will rape and batter Hochul’s sorry ass pu**y.”

Another highly offensive post called for the assassination of AOC, “We must assassinate AOC for America.”

The hacker also posted a tweet that claimed Governor Greg Abbott (R-TX) ordered border patrol to start slaughtering illegals, “Gov. Abbott: I will order Border Patrol to start slaughtering illegals.”

The offending tweets were gone by 9:30 a.m., and the Post tweeted a few minutes later about what happened.

About three hours later, the paper issued an updated statement blaming an internal attack.

“The New York Post’s investigation indicates that the unauthorized conduct was committed by an employee, and we are taking appropriate action. This morning, we immediately removed the vile and reprehensible content from our website and social media accounts,” the paper said.
