Over 30,000 health care workers in New York State will most likely become unemployed this week. According to recent reports, that is how many have not met Governor Kathy Hochuls vaccine mandate deadline for getting at least one dose of the vaccine.

The preliminary data from New York’s Department of Health, which came from a department survey conducted on Thursday and released on Friday, shows at least 34,000 workers have not yet received one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
