RATINGS FAIL: Jan. 6 Prime Time Congressional Hearing Complete Bust Ahead Of Midterms

Published on

The Prime Time Jan. 6 Congressional Hearing that Nancy Pelosi and the Radical Democrats advertised harder than the Superbowl was a complete catastrophic rating fail.

In a desperate attempt to score political brownie points with the American people ahead of the 2022 midterm elections, the prime-time hearing ratings are finally in.

Despite being picked up by every major network in America, including CNN, and MSNBC, the hearings only garnered around 20 million views according to The Hill. By contrast, the 2022 Super Bowl scored more than 100.2 million viewers, according to Nielsen data from NBC and Telemundo. Even Joe Biden’s State Of The Union address in March pulled in 38 million views, nearly double that of the Jan. 6 hearing. But to really highlight just how abysmal the ratings were, in 2018 former President Donald Trump’s first State of The Union attracted over 45 million views according to the NY Post.

Pelosi, Kinzinger, and GOP traitor Liz Cheney decided it would be a good idea to gang up on former President Trump, and once again rehash old footage of the Jan. 6th so-called “insurrection” that we’ve all literally seen a hundred times, in order to further enhance their political careers. They were under the impression that the entire country would be watching but quickly learned their efforts may have gone to waste.

Compared to the average congressional hearing which on average pulls in roughly 9 million views, the Jan. 6 hearing only doubled that of the everyday current events typically broadcasted from the nation’s capital. Again, most congressional hearings are not broadcasted across every major network.

But will it all pay off for Liz Cheney?

A minuscule 28 percent of Wyoming voters say they would vote for Cheney, a new poll from Fabrizio, Lee & Associates showed, The Daily Mail reported.

“The survey of 400 likely Republican primary voters in the deep red state shows that 56 percent would vote for Trump-backed candidate Harriet Hageman over the incumbent if the election were held today,” it said.

The 28 points that divide them fall well outside the 4.9 percent margin of error for the poll taken June 1 and 2 that was released this week.

Even fewer respondents had a favorable view of their current turncoat congresswoman in the U.S. House of Representatives – with just 26 percent viewing her favorably and an overwhelming 73 percent having an unfavorable opinion of Cheney.

According to the Associated Press, the next round of hearings won’t take place in prime time like the debut on Thursday, but lawmakers claim they will go into greater detail about specific aspects of January 6th riots.
