NJ Incumbent Refuses To Concede To Truck Driver Because 12,000 Ballots Were “Just Found”

I said it once, and I’ll say it again… in order to win a Democrat-controlled race you need to win by a landslide because a margin of “stolen votes” must be factored in. I stand by this message more than ever after the recent New Jersey Gubernatorial. It seems the only time the Republicans win, Youngkin for example in Virginia, is if they win by a large enough margin that completely eliminates the opportunity for any main-in ballot funny business.

If you’ve been following the elections in New Jersey, Jack Ciattarelli’s lead over Gubernatorial incumbent Phil Murphey suddenly disappeared after polls closed on election day in typical mail-in ballot fashion. We’ve seen it time and time again where a Republican candidate’s lead on election day is wiped out with a sudden influx of mail-in ballots that for some reason weren’t “found” until the final hours of the race, or even up to days after. Perhaps the Democrats felt that McAullife’s loss in Virginia was enough, and under no circumstances were they going to allow the same to happen in New Jersey.

In just a few days Jack Ciattarelli went from New Jersey’s next Governor to “mathematically impossible to win”. According to the Associated Press, with 98% of the expected vote counted, on Sunday Murphy was ahead by more than 65,000 votes, a 2.59% margin. In a statement Monday, Murphy campaign manager Mollie Binotto said the only votes yet to be counted are vote-by-mail and provisional ballots. The vote-by-mail ballots have overwhelmingly favored Murphy, she said, and the about 57,000 outstanding provisional ballots are not enough to erase his lead.

But the real story on everyone’s mind is why Democratic New Jersey Senate President Heavy Weight Steve Sweeney refuses to concede election to GOP truck driver.

Senate President Steve Sweeney says thousands of “recently found” ballots supports his refusal to concede to a Republican challenger who ran a low-budget campaign.

“The results from Tuesday’s election continue to come in, for instance there were 12,000 ballots recently found in one county,” Sweeney said in an email to the Philadelphia Inquirer on Thursday. “While I am currently trailing in the race, we want to make sure every vote is counted. Our voters deserve that, and we will wait for the final results.”

The race between Sweeney and Truck Driver Edward Durr was called late Thursday morning by the Associated Press. There were roughly 2,000 votes between them and 100% of precincts reporting. Durr led by 32,742 votes, or 51.8%, while Sweeney trailed with 30,444, or 48.2%.

So if 100% of the preceints have reported, than where on earth did these 12,000 mystery ballots come from? Sweeney refuses to name the county, and has no proof of where they actually came from, but insists they are out there.
