John Nolte, a Senior Writer at Breitbart, called out Fox News in a recent article for “continuing to spread an OBVIOUS hoax even AFTER it’s been debunked.”
Nolte was referring to Cassidy Hutchinson’s testimony during the January 6 Hearing, when she told the committee that Donald Trump, while on the way back to the Oval Office after his J6 Rally, attempted to grab the steering wheel while “lunging” at a secret service agent.
Two members of Trump’s secret service detail have since come forward regarding Hutchinson’s testimony, claiming that she lied and that the former President did no such thing. Both secret service members said they would be willing to testify under oath that her story is not true.
Nolte wrote in the Breitbart article, “So what we have here is Fox News continuing to spread an OBVIOUS hoax even AFTER it’s been debunked… Fox is deliberately endorsing a blatant lie that was glaringly false from the moment it was spoken.”
Nolte went on to say, “Moreover, this Hutchinson loon claimed she wrote a note everyone says she didn’t… Ah, but here’s oh-so fair and balanced Fox News… Here’s Fox News, the outlet that says it’s different from the rest of the media, still spreading an obvious lie, even AFTER it’s been debunked and the witness exposed as a total phony”.
“So here we have the most ridiculous, audacious, outlandish lie ever, and here’s Fox News swallowing it whole, spreading it as gospel, and here we are more than 12 hours after it’s been debunked, and Fox News is STILL spreading this hoax”.
