POLL: Liz Cheney Polling Better With Democrats Over Republicans, Tells Trump To ‘Bring It’

Published on

A new poll surfaced Wednesday confirming what we knew all along regarding Liz Cheney’s horrific poll ratings amongst Republicans.

The shocking part isn’t the fact that she’s down a colossal 30 points just four days before Tuesday’s primary, it’s the amount of support she has from Democrats heading into her race that really solidifies what political party the turncoat traitor from Wyoming bats for.

The Wyoming Primary Election Survey conducted by the University of Wyoming shows a whopping 98 percent of Democrats supporting Cheney and only 2 percent supporting her Trump-endorsed opponent, attorney Harriet Hageman. An embarrassing 15 percent of overall Republicans reported support for incumbent Rep. Cheney. Guess that’s what happens when you stab your party in the back while the opposition cheers you on.

Meanwhile, Hageman leads among likely GOP primary voters 57 to 28 percent. No other candidate landed with more than 2 percent support while nearly 10 percent of likely Republican primary voters remained unsure.

Former President Donald Trump who is understandably frustrated with the failed GOP conference chairwoman, posted his endorsement on social media the same day Harriet Hageman launched her bid to unseat the three-term incumbent. “Harriet is all in for America First. Harriet has my Complete and Total endorsement in replacing the Democrat’s number one provider of sound bites, Liz Cheney.

Cheney responded on Twitter, “Here’s a sound bite for you: Bring it.”

As if it wasn’t enough for Liz Cheney to get tossed from her House leadership role last spring, Cheney double downed on her feud with former President Trump by accepting the Vice Chair position on the J6 Hearing Committee, which ultimately put the nail in the coffin on her already dying political career.

Liz Cheney, who has publicly shamed Donald Trump multiple times for his involvement in the January 6th Capitol riot, claiming he bears all responsibility, made it well known to the American people that “I will do everything I can to ensure that the former president never again gets anywhere near the Oval Office.”. Her constant attacks on the former President have clearly backfired on her as she continues to lose an overwhelming amount of support with the GOP.

In an attempt to salvage what little career Cheney has left, she is now turning to Democrats in her home state, educating them on how to change party registration ahead of Tuesday’s primary. The situation in Wyoming is so catastrophic for the Congresswoman that the Wyoming Republican Party voted in November to no longer recognize Cheney as a Republican.

Will Cheney’s last-ditch attempt to stay relevant work? Probably not, as Hageman appears to be too far ahead now in the polls, but you got to give Liz credit for persistency as she persistently destroys her career over a severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome. At least she’s consistent in her actions.

The Wyoming Primary Election survey was conducted July 25-Aug. 6, yielding 836 responses from Wyoming residents, including 562 identified as likely voters in the Aug. 16 Republican Party primary. The margin of error for the GOP primary questions is plus or minus 4.1 percentage points. The margin of error for the statewide questions is plus or minus 3.4 percentage points.
