Joe Biden is a serial liar. He has been for the past 47 years. Prior to the 2020 election, a “Biden Lies” compilation video surfaced that highlighted just how much nonsense this man talks, so when he falsely claimed that January 6 rioters at the U.S. Capitol “killed two police officers” while giving the commencement address at his alma mater Saturday, I wasn’t the least bit surprised.
I, as an adult, however, am able to differentiate bull$h!t from reality. The students at the University Of Delaware are not, which is one of the greatest challenges America faces today – the constant lies that the Democrats spew in order to push their leftist propaganda on our youth.
Still to this day, nearly 2 years after the January 6th riot at the nation’s Capitol, Biden and several top Democrats continue to repeat the now-debunked claim that 2 police offers were killed by “insurrectionists”. The President repeated this claim once again at the University of Delaware, where Biden graduated in 1965 while giving a speech during a graduation ceremony.
“A mob of insurrectionists stormed the Capitol, the very citadel of democracy,” Biden told the newly minted graduates. “Imagine what you’d be thinking today if you had heard this morning before you got here that a group of a thousand people broke down the doors of the parliament of Great Britain, killed two police officers, smashed and ransacked the office of members of the British Parliament or any other, what would you think? What would you think?”
The fact of that matter is, that no police officers died during the riots, and one who died the following day was found to have died of a stroke. There were rumors in the beginning that Capitol Police Officer Brian D. Sicknick was hit in the head by a rioter with a fire extinguisher. The NY Times and other media outlets retracted that story weeks later after admitting that they falsely reported the cause of death. The Washington Post was one of the first outlets to report the truth.
The Washington Post reported, The ruling, released Monday, will make it difficult for prosecutors to pursue homicide charges in the officer’s death. Two men are accused of assaulting Sicknick by spraying a powerful chemical irritant at him during the siege, but prosecutors have not tied that exposure to Sicknick’s death.
According to the DailyWire, Democrats on the House January 6 Commission have also repeated the claim that rioters killed police officers. Committee Chairman Bennie Thompson (D-Mississippi) said in his opening remarks on the first day of hearings last July that “seven people lost their lives” in the riot. The number would appear to include Sicknick, Babbitt, who was shot by Capitol Police, the officers who committed suicide, the protesters who suffered fatal heart attacks, and the one who died of a suspected drug overdose. Ashley Babbitt, an unarmed protestor, was the only person who actually died as a result of the riot.
But despite all of these debunked claims, Joe Biden continues to spew misinformation to vulnerable audiences that he knows will most likely not fact-check his statements. The liberal-left is already on an all-out mission to indoctrinate our youth with lies all for political gain, and seeing that Joe Biden is an expert liar himself, what better person to lead the charge than someone who has 47 years as a serial liar?
