The Biden administration is getting dangerously close to destroying our 2nd amendment right, and I’m not referring to assault rifles only. We’ve been warning our readers since the far-left radical President took office – do not give this man a single inch!
President Biden on Monday took aim at 9mm handguns, appearing to suggest that the “high-caliber weapons” ought to be banned. This announcement comes on the exact same day as Prime Minister Justin Trudeau told Canadians “It will no longer be possible to buy, sell, transfer, or import handguns anywhere in Canada.”
Canada might not have a second amendment, but the news out of Canada on Monday should be very alarming to American citizens seeing that the Liberals all seem to be following the same radical agenda in order to disarm their citizens.
In recent years, we saw Australia and the UK ban guns, and now we’re seeing it in Canada. They will absolutely come after America next.
The president made the remarks outside the White House after returning from a visit to the site of a mass shooting in Texas where 21 people, including 19 elementary school children, were killed last week.
Recounting a visit to a New York trauma hospital, Biden said doctors showed him X-rays of gunshot wounds.
“They said a .22-caliber bullet will lodge in the lung, and we can probably get it out — may be able to get it and save the life. A 9mm bullet blows the lung out of the body,” Biden said.
“So, the idea of these high-caliber weapons is, uh, there’s simply no rational basis for it in terms of self-protection, hunting,” Biden added. “Remember, the constitution was never absolute.”
“You couldn’t buy a cannon when the Second Amendment was passed,” Biden said. “You couldn’t go out and purchase a lot of weaponry.”
The president, however, ruled out the possibility of issuing an executive order on guns, saying: “I can’t dictate this stuff.”
And that’s the problem we’re facing with Democrats today. They don’t care about the Constitution, and they certainly don’t care about our second amendment rights. Biden should have ruled out the possibility because it’s our right, not because he “can’t dictate this stuff”. I’m sure if he could, he would in a heartbeat.
As originally reported by Fox News, the 9mm round is the most popular handgun caliber in the United States, accounting for well over half of all handguns produced in 2019, according to Shooting Industry magazine. The data showed that throughout the 2010s, 9mm pistols made up more than 40% of all pistols produced in the United States – or roughly four in every ten pistols.
First, it was assault rifles, and now it’s high-caliber weapons. When you give the Democrats an inch, they will always push for a mile, which is why we need to shut down the debate now before we find ourselves in a similar situation as those who have already been stripped of the right to defend themselves.
