The Mayor Of Uvalde Has A Message For Beto O’Rourke, “To Hell With You Too”

Texas Democrat gubernatorial candidate Beto O’Rourke thought it would be a good idea to crash Governor Abbott’s press conference to politicize the Texas Shooting that took the lives of 19 children and 2 teachers at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas on Tuesday.

O’Rourke attempted to make the conversation all about guns but was quickly silenced and told to leave by those hosting the press conference.

The Mayor Of Uvalde, Don McLaughlin, told the media after O’Rourke’s embarrassing and inappropriate performance “That event today was not the place or the time… I have no respect for Beto and the haters who hate…to hell with you too.”

“I don’t care if you’re a Democrat, Republican, or an Independent,” said McLaughlin. “We’re American people. We’re trying to come together as a community, and to do what you did today at that press conference was wrong. I’m sorry, it was wrong.”

In the middle of Governor Greg Abbott’s press conference, O’Rourke tried —and failed miserably —to score political points by crashing actual Governor Greg Abbott’s press conference on the Uvalde school shooting. Beto was quickly thrown out.

Governor Abbott spoke for roughly ten minutes before handing the microphone to Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick, at which point O’Rourke approached the stage on national television and interrupted the conference.
