Trump Endorsed 13 Candidates In Tuesday’s Primary Elections. Here’s Who Won…

Primary races were held on Tuesday across Maine, South Carolina, North Dakota, and Nevada, and as usual, former President Donald Trump proved victorious in a slew of endorsements that ended up with a 92% winning record. Not a bad birthday gift for the President who celebrated his 76th birthday on Tuesday as well.

Out of the 13 candidates that Donald Trump endorsed, only 1 candidate lost proving once again that America wants conservatives in office and moderate/RINOs out.

Even after the January 6 Capitol Riot Hearing, Republicans don’t seem to be even the slightest bit persuaded into voting for alternative candidates, a good sign, that most aren’t interested in the Democrat’s Trump-bashing witch hunt.

As a matter of fact, it’s exactly the opposite. Most GOP voters want candidates who voted to impeach the former President gone, and are turning out in droves to vote them out. Trump’s biggest victory on Tuesday proved just that as 5-term incumbent Tom Rice (SC-District 7), who voted to impeach Trump, lost to Trump-backed Russell Fry by a landslide. Fry took home 51% of the votes, while incumbent Rice only garnered 24%.

The only other South Carolina Trump-backed candidate, Katie Arrington, did end up losing to freshman Congresswoman Nancy Mace. This was Trump’s only loss of the night out of the 13 backed candidates. Mace, who ran in a very moderate district took home 53% of the votes, to Arrington’s 45%. Needless to say, it was an extremely close race and a little too close for comfort for the Nikki Haley-backed candidate.

MAINE

There were no Maine Trump-backed candidates.

SOUTH CAROLINA WINS

Henry McMaster – Governor

Won with 83 percent of the vote.

Trump endorsed McMaster last March, meeting with the candidate at Mar-a-Lago in February. Trump called him a “fabulous chief executive for his state” in an endorsement statement.

Alan Wilson – Attorney General

Won with 66 percent of the vote.

Tim Scott – Senate

Won unopposed.

One of the highest fundraisers this election cycle, Scott faced an easy path to re-election this week for what will be his last term. Trump called him an “outstanding senator and person who works tirelessly for the people of his great state” in a statement.

Joe Wilson – SC02
Unopposed. He voted to challenge the 2020 election results.

Jeff Duncan – SC03
Unopposed. He voted to challenge the 2020 election results.

William Timmons – SC04
Won with 53 percent of the vote. He voted to challenge the 2020 election results.

Ralph Norman – SC05
Unopposed. He voted to challenge the 2020 election results.

Russell Fry – SC07
Won with 51 percent of the vote.

In his endorsement statement, Trump said, “Russell Fry, who is all in for the Palmetto State, has my complete and total endorsement. VOTE TOM RICE OUT NOW!”

NORTH DAKOTA WINS

John Hoeven – Senate

Won with 78 percent of the vote.

Kelly Armstrong – NDAL

Ran Unopposed.

NEVADA WINS

Adam Laxalt – Senate

Won with 56 percent of the vote.

The former Nevada attorney general served as a Trump campaign state co-chair and was a major voice in the attempts to challenge the 2020 election results. Trump said Laxalt was running to “defeat Harry Reid’s, Chuck Schumer’s and Nancy Pelosi’s handpicked successor and win an America First majority in the U.S. Senate.”

Adam Laxalt will now face Democratic Senator Catherine Cortez Masto in a race that could determine which party controls the Senate.

Joe Lombardo – Governor

Won with 38 percent of the vote.

While Lombardo enjoyed high polling numbers in the race, the Trump endorsement boosted him in a crowded field of other candidates who vied for his approval. Trump praised Lombardo’s longtime police and military background, saying he would protect the “under-siege Second Amendment” in a statement.
