Attorney-General Garland Says FBI Has Grounds To “Investigate And Prosecute” Protests At Public School Board Meetings

Published on

Attorney-General Merrick Garland announces the FBI has grounds to investigate parents who speak out against Critical Race Theory and is even going as far as labeling some protests as “domestic terrorism and hate crimes”, at least that’s what his own statement infers. Here’s the issue:

“NSBA (National School Board Association) demanded that the White House consider deploying “the PATRIOT ACT in regards to domestic terrorism” against individuals, including parents, who acted inappropriately, saying, “As these acts of malice, violence, and threats against public school officials have increased, the classification of these heinous actions could be the equivalent to a form of domestic terrorism and hate crimes.” It provided no evidence for how recent interactions could fall into those categories, or why if there were crimes committed, they would not be handled by local police. Incidents it cited in footnotes include cases of parents “mocking” school board members or offering “insults.”

Keep in mind the PATRIOT ACT allows the arrest and indefinite incarceration of any SUSPECTED terrorist and denies legal representation or any other Constitutional rights including the right to trial. Using the PATRIOT ACT, or threatening to use it against parents upset about their children being taught racism and subjected to pornography is most certainly an act of intimidation if not “domestic terrorism” and gives grounds for FBI involvement according to Garlands own words in his memo addressing the issue:

“While the spirited debate about policy matters is protected under our Constitution, that protection does not extend to threats of violence or efforts to intimidate individuals based on their views,” Garland wrote in a memo to federal prosecutors as well as FBI Director Christopher Wray. “ (from Garland’s memo as reported by New York Post)

Of course in the twisted “up is down” thinking of AG Garland all this goes right over his head and he sees the parents as the villains and those opposing the school boards as the ones he is sending the FBI to investigate and persecute. I wonder if that includes the mayor of Hudson, Ohio who met the school board with this statement”

“It has come to my attention that your educators are distributing essentially what is child pornography in the classroom. I’ve spoken to a judge this evening. She’s already confirmed that. So I’m going to give you a simple choice. You either choose to resign from this Board of Education or you will be charged.”

Added to the mix is the fact Garland’s son-in-law is the founder of Panorama, a company making millions of dollars collecting information on students and then recommending curriculum such as Critical Race Theory to school boards.

Of course, any threats or acts of violence should be investigated no matter who the culprit is, but that starts with a complaint to local law enforcement. Threatening the use of the PATRIOT ACT to silence and intimidate, or to actually remove parents from society while protecting those responsible for the real damage being done is the work of political activists in high places.
