Joe Biden now has a tax payer provided $455,000 wall around his $2.7M beach front home, paid for by Dept of Homeland Security, yet has denied Texas and the rest of the country the same security by effectively opening our southern border. Since it’s on state, not federal land the Biden administration will have no authority to stop the construction. All appeals to the Biden administration requesting use of the abandoned materials purchased under the Trump admin and laying on the ground have gone unanswered.
Texas is the first state to launch such an endeavor made necessary due to the Biden administration shirking it’s duty to protect the country from the 1.2 million apprehended and those not apprehended crossing the border from 100+ countries around the world.
So far, just this year in Texas, enough fentanyl was confiscated to kill the entire populations of Texas, California, New York, Illinois, and Florida combined. Fentanyl is the #1 cause of death in America among the 18-45 age group. Gov Deportation is federal responsibility, therefore Abbott announced that illegals will be arrested and jailed for trespass.
Texas is investing $3 billion that should be paid for by the federal government, a heavy toll on the citizens of Texas but a drop in the bucket if included in Biden’s trillion dollar infrastructure proposal. And it’s just a matter of Biden’s failure to control the border, his administration is trafficking the illegals all around the country. The former Head of the Border Patrol, Rodney Scott, replaced by the Biden administration in July, 2021, gave an alarming report in a letter to the majority and minority leaders in both the House and Senate, including Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer, last Sept 11, 2021.
“The Biden administration’s team at DHS is laser-focused on exploiting the flow of migrants into the U.S. And downplaying the significant vulnerability this creates for terrorists, narcotics smugglers, human traffickers, and even hostile nations to gain access to our homeland…Of grave concern is the fact that the Secretary and other political appointees within DHS have provided factually incorrect information to Congressional Representatives and the American public. Furthermore, they have directed USBP personnel to allow otherwise ineligible aliens to remain in the U.S….”
On September 21, 2021, Senator Schumer said this, prompted by the Hatian invasion:
“I urge President Biden and Secretary Mayorkas to immediately put a stop to these expulsions and to end this Title 42 policy at our southern border,” Schumer said. “We cannot continue these hateful and xenophobic Trump policies that disregard our refugee laws. We must allow asylum seekers to present their claims at our ports of entry and be afforded due process.”
The resulting question that must be asked and answered, not only involving the border invasion crisis, but the abandoning of $85B in military equipment and thousands of Americans (now admitted to by the State Dept), the loss of fuel independence due to the pipeline shutdown and other restrictions, etc., etc.,etc., is who does Biden work for since it’s obviously not the American populace?
