Liz Admits She Likes Working With Democrats More Than Republicans, Attacks DeSantis

After relentlessly attacking former President Donald Trump over the January 6th Capitol Riot, Liz Cheney (R-WY) has decided to try her luck with Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL) – just in case the GOP didn’t get the hint from her Trump bashing.

Cheney, who is 20 points behind in the polls against Trump-endorsed challenger Harriet Hageman, is now taking cheap shots at DeSantis. In an interview with The New York Times published Sunday, Cheney, in addition to slamming DeSantis, admitted that she enjoys working with Democrats more than Republicans.

The Wyoming Representative said she “would find it very difficult” to support DeSantis in a general election against a Democrat if DeSantis becomes the 2024 GOP nominee for president.

“I think that Ron DeSantis has lined himself up almost entirely with Donald Trump, and I think that’s very dangerous,” Cheney said.

Cheney also said that she prefers working with Democrat women in Congress than with Republican women.

“I would much rather serve with Mikie Sherrill and Chrissy Houlahan and Elissa Slotkin than Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Boebert, even though on substance certainly I have big disagreements with the Democratic women I just mentioned,” Cheney said. “But they love this country, they do their homework and they are people that are trying to do the right thing for the country.”

The New York Times posted on social media just how likely it is that Cheney loses her primary race reminding followers that Liz is “losing badly”.

At this point, Cheney really should just pack it in, or switch parties altogether.
