NEVER HAPPENED: Secret Service Members Ready To Testify, Debunking Hutchinson’s Story

Published on

According to NBC News Chief White House Correspondent Peter Alexander, members of the Secret Service are calling b.s. on Tuesday’s sham testimony by former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson and are ready to dispute the allegations made to the Jan. 6 Committee.

During her Testimony, Hutchinson says Trump attempted to grab the wheel of the Presidential limo and lunged at an agent who disagreed with him. According to Peter Alexander, it was all a lie.

“A source close to the Secret Service tells me both Bobby Engel, the lead agent, and the presidential limousine/SUV driver are prepared to testify under oath that neither man was assaulted and that Mr. Trump never lunged for the steering wheel,” Alexander tweeted.

The Secret Service responded to Hutchinson’s claims in a statement, saying “U.S. Secret Service has been cooperating with the Select Committee since its inception in spring 2021, and will continue to do so, including by responding on the record to the Committee regarding the new allegations surfaced in today’s testimony.”

Washington Post reporter Josh Dawsey also posted to social media shortly after Hutchinson fabricated the story while under oath, saying the January 6 select committee “has Secret Service testimony that would seemingly corroborate or dispute what Cassidy Hutchinson said today, but it wasn’t played.”

Whether the Jan. 6 committee will take up the Secret Service agents on their offer to testify under oath that neither man was assaulted and that Mr. Trump never lunged for the steering wheel, is yet to be determined, but the fact that they are willing to come forward has already damaged Hutchinson’s credibility, leading many to believe her testimony was nothing more than a hit piece on the former President.
