I start this article with a question: Does anyone have any faith in the integrity of the Federal Bureau of Investigations? There are a plethora of reasons why I do not. From their refusal to believe that crime can be organized into specific vices during Prohibition, giving rise to a legacy of murder and profit that continues to this day, to their brazen laziness in investigating the Centennial Olympic Park Bombing, (that occurred on July 27, 1996), where they falsely and aggressively pointed out the suspect as Security Guard, Richard Jewell, to their refusal to prosecute former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton regarding the scandalous use of her personal e-mail for the sake of political expediency. What the FBI has done to President Trump was just icing on an already spoiled cake.
As of this week, the FBI and the DOJ have taken another serious hit. The newest allegations against the FBI and the DOJ have been brought to light by Senator Chuck Grassley from Iowa. According to his statements, the FBI and the Justice Department are being accused by “highly credible whistleblowers” of burying verified criminal allegations against Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, by incorrectly dismissing the intelligence as “disinformation”.
“First, it’s been alleged that the FBI developed information in 2020 about Hunter Biden’s criminal financial and related activity. It is further alleged that in August 2020, FBI Supervisory Intelligence Analyst Brian Auten opened an assessment that was used by an FBI Headquarters (“FBI HQ”) team to improperly discredit negative Hunter Biden information as disinformation and caused investigative activity to cease. Based on allegations, verified and verifiable derogatory information on Hunter Biden was falsely labeled as disinformation.”
I strongly suggest that the Reader pores over Senator Grassley’s official correspondence to AG Garland and Christopher Wray, Director of the FBI, in its entirety. It is truly damning. The correspondence listed dates, times, and details that are invaluable.
In a nutshell, Senator Grassley wrote that “the allegations provided to my office appear to indicate that there was a scheme in place among certain FBI officials to undermine derogatory information connected to Hunter Biden by falsely suggesting it was disinformation’.
The whistleblowers who had contact with Senator Grassley alleged that the FBI developed a case file in 2020 about Hunter Biden’s criminal and financial activities.
“Based on allegations, verified and verifiable derogatory information on Hunter Biden was falsely labeled as disinformation…Such action continued until at least October 2020 — a month before the election — when the info was dismissed as disinformation even though it was allegedly either verified or verifiable via criminal search warrants…The assistant special agent in charge then allegedly ordered the matter closed without providing a valid reason — and then attempted to improperly mark the matter in FBI systems so that it could not be opened in the future.”
To add insult to injury, taking pages from the Democrat playbook, efforts were made to smear those investigating Hunter as being part of a foreign conspiracy, (Russia, of course), of criminally spreading “disinformation”. The now verified “disinformation”, as pushed by the FBI and Joe Biden, concerned a whole list of the criminal and immoral behavior of Hunter Biden. From Hunter using his father’s influence to secure several overseas “no-show” jobs, (under-the-table deals with Ukraine and China) all the way to splitting the financial take with Daddy Biden. Although the FBI and the DOJ have confirmed receipt of Senator Grassley’s correspondence, both agencies have refused to comment.
The White House has been trying to deflect from this never-ending story of political corruption for years. White House Press Secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre is consistently dogged by the more honest members of our media during White House Press Conferences.
“Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy asked White House spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre about a voicemail in which Joe Biden comforted his son, saying he was ‘in the clear’ after an exposé in the New York Times about a crooked Chinese operator who had dealings with Hunter. It puts the lie to Biden’s claim that he’s never spoken to Hunter about his overseas business dealings.
But Jean-Pierre couldn’t be bothered to comment.
‘We’re not, from this podium — I’m not going to talk about alleged materials from the laptop,’ she replied.’
In my opinion, if any of these allegations are true and accurate, the Justice Department and FBI have been and currently are institutionally rotten to their core. With so many examples, I don’t have to wonder how my confidence in the equal application of the Law has been shaken. However, I have hope that honest Congressional oversight will force some much-needed course correction to the entire model of Federal Law Enforcement.
In a just society, this kind of stonewalling cannot last forever. Even with the “wink and nod” attitude of the mainstream media and with elements in Federal Law Enforcement, the concept of stuffing your head in the ground like an ostrich, pretending that something so wrong is just “business as usual”, just will not fly anymore. Hopefully, the light of Lady Justice will finally break this conspiracy of silence and governmental duplicity.
