The Democrats have been fighting an uphill battle as we head towards the mid-term elections.  The Democrat policies in play in Blue States and the Federal Government have had severe negative consequences on everyone.  The malaise of our national economy, the lack of planning for international crises, the idiocy of our open door Southern Border, and the uptick of violent crime with little or no punishment for the offenders can and will spell disaster for Democrat politicians who will be running for re-election.  Even the mainstream media seems to be reporting mid-term polls fairly.  A poll conducted by CBS in April of this year shows a 60% disapproval rating for Joe Biden and his cronies, and in my opinion, for good reason.

Any reasonable politician seeking re-election would probably make a course correction.  If not for the Will of the People, then for their own professional survival.  What we have seen unfold this last week is the latest example of how myopic and disingenuous these politicians are.

It was first reported by Politico that a Supreme Court Decision Draft was leaked by an unknown person that is set to overturn the highly debated 1973 Roe V. Wade Decision regarding abortion rights.

This is the Red Herring the Democrats have been waiting for, or possibly, have orchestrated.  In the recent history of American politics, no other issue has been as divisive as abortion.  This is the issue where Democrats think they will shine.  Joe Biden wasted no time in making his statement regarding this leaked document.

“US President Joe Biden on Tuesday, 3 May, criticized the ‘radical’ draft of the Supreme Court which is overturning the Roe v. Wade ruling. Biden highlighted that his administration has been strongly in defense of Roe v. Wade. He stated that Roe v. Wade abortion rights ruling has stood for a half-century and warned that other rights including birth control are at risk if the court follows through. The statement of Biden came after the SC’s draft was accessed by Politico. ”

As expected, other Democrat politicians are scurrying to get a statement into the press regarding their fight to support abortion rights.

“Nancy Pelosi, the Democratic speaker of the House, said: ‘If the report is accurate, the supreme court is poised to inflict the greatest restriction of rights in the past 50 years – not just on women but on all Americans…The Republican-appointed justices’ reported votes to overturn Roe v Wade would go down as an abomination, one of the worst and most damaging decisions in modern history,’ Pelosi said.

From my home state of New York, even Governor Hochul is getting in on the action.

“New York Gov. Kathy Hochul at the State Capitol at a rally calling for stronger abortion rights on May 3. She walks alongside her newly picked Lt. Gov. Antonio Delgado. Hochul also pledged to make New York a ‘safe harbor’ for abortions…”

I cannot stress enough how many Democratic politicians need this distraction to rally their base and contort the narrative.  It is also leading to violent reactions from the Left.  Not only have there been heated protests led by “pro-choice” activists outside the courthouse in Washington since the Supreme Court document was conveniently leaked, but it has also been reported that more extreme Leftist groups have posted the home addresses of Supreme Court Justices Samuel Alito, Clarence Thomas, Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, Amy Barrett, and Chief Justice John Roberts.

“Militant pro-choice activists doxxed the six Supreme Court justices that are expected to dismiss Roe v Wade — publishing their partial addresses online as part of a planned protest… The group, ‘Ruth Sent Us,’ has planned the protest for next Wednesday at what it called ‘the homes of the six extremist justices.’ “.

Antifa, the violent Leftist criminal organization is active again as well.  No matter what the “outrage” is, they always operate most effectively during Left-wing movements.  They rely on mainstream media and like-minded politicians to either justify or ignore their violence.

“Hundreds of activists gathered at Lownsdale Square in downtown Portland to protest the Court’s decision. Holding signs claiming that ‘Women will die’ and ‘We will not go backward,’ activists promised to ‘abort the Supreme Court’… Antifa terrorists smashed windows of local businesses, vandalized property, and started fires. Police say the criminals threw incendiary devices at the Mark O. Hatfield U.S. Courthouse.”

We are witnessing such desperate political tactics by Democrat politicians to keep their majority standing.  The shift in the narrative to secure their base, as well as the wink and nod from them that allows intimidating, violent, and criminal behavior from their organized followers is simply unacceptable in a Free Democratic Republic.  Never in the history of our Country has a Supreme Court document been leaked.  If it was leaked by a lone radicalized individual or by an organized group conspiracy, it is wrong.  Turning a blind eye to this criminal act is truly an act of depravity.  Using this document to instill fear, uncertainty, and violence to secure your voter base, no matter the consequences, just to hold onto perceived power is Evil.
