The ‘tolerant left’ once again showed their true colors while at a Kathy Hochul rally in NYC on Saturday evening when a Hochul supporter grabbed the neck of what appeared to be a black female protestor and choked her while shoving her backward.

“I was just there peacefully holding my sign, they didn’t want to hear what I had to say,” explained the woman.

The woman who was assaulted claimed she was trying to retrieve her sign that apparently fell. “As I was trying to retrieve my sign, there was another man that came and choked me, and there were two other people that were coming and preventing me from trying to get my sign.

“Never wanted to get physical with anyone, I was just there peacefully just holding my sign, and you know, they didn’t want to hear what I had to say.”

WATCH THE POST-INCIDENT INTERVIEW:

Footage captured by the independent Viral News NY showed the middle of the altercation, in which a man in shorts and a plaid short-sleeve shirt choked a woman wearing a black sweatshirt.

Councilwoman Crystal Hudson, a Democrat who represents Prospect Heights in Brooklyn, was also seen tussling with the woman, who at one point shoved the lawmaker. Hudson did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment.

According to the NY Post, the 24-second clip did not show how the fight began, but the unidentified woman told the photographer it started when someone took her sign, which featured pictures of Hochul and other Democrats with the tagline “Vote Them Out.”
