It didn’t take long for GOP Arizona Gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake to hit back against Liz Cheney for spending $500,000 on campaign ads that attacked members of her own party including Lake herself.
The Wyoming Representative’s leadership PAC on Friday released a new ad in Arizona targeting two election integrity challengers who are running for high-profile statewide offices, saying “we cannot give people power who will not honor elections.”
Kari Lake quickly drafted a letter for the disgraced Wyoming Rep. as a thank you for her ‘generous contributions’, and posted the letter on her Twitter account.
The letter was addressed to “Liz Cheney, Defeated Member of Congress (WY-AL)”.

Lake suggested that Cheney’s letter actually helped her in the polls and added “another 10 points” to their lead. “In fact, my team tells me your commercial should add another 10 points to our lead! I guess that’s why they call the Cheney anti-endorsement the gift that keeps on giving,” Lake wrote.
The GOP Gubernatorial Candidate finished the letter by thanking Cheney “for the huge boost” to her campaign. ” Thank you again for the huge boost to our campaign! Enjoy your forced retirement from politics. I know America will rest easier knowing that one more warmonger is out of office.”
