Donald Trump, from his Mar-A-Lago residence on Tuesday evening announced his official run for President Of The United States in 2024.
With over 1,000 in attendance and over 250 media outlets present, the President spoke at 9:00 pm with the entire Trump family present. The President entered the room with former first lady Melania Trump.
The former President spoke in a calm manner and a tone that was much different from that of his recent rallies. His speech was professional, Presidential and he focused on the issues that America faces today under Joe Biden while highlighting skyrocketing inflation, surging gas prices, and America’s dangerously low depleting strategic petroleum reserves.
During his announcement, Trump also took several jabs at Joe Biden’s declining health and noted the fact that he continuously “falls asleep” and is “leading us to the brink of nuclear war”. Trump also referred to Joe Biden as the “face of left-wing failure”.
Trump made no mention of a running mate during the nearly 1-hour speech.
