Herschel Walker Responds To MSNBC And The Man Who Called Him The “N Word” On Air

Published on

In a disgusting and racist MSNBC interview during an episode of The Cross Connection With Tiffany Cross, Tiffany had Justice Correspondent Elie Mystal on to discuss Republican candidate Herschel Walker.

In an unhinged rant, Elie called the former NFL great a “negro”, claiming that “Herschel Walker will do what he’s told and that’s what Republicans want from their negroes.”

The Georgia Senate Primary Republican Nominee hit back on Twitter Monday afternoon calling out Senator Raphael Warnock (GA-D) and the “left-wing” crazies for suggesting that America is full of bad people full of racists.

“@ReverendWarnock and the left wing crazies believe America is a fundamentally bad country full of racist people. But you and I know this is a great country, full of good people. #gasen,” Walker posted on his Twitter feed.

Walker was referring to an interview where Elie Mystal was discussing a poll that suggested that incumbent Senator Warnock (GA-D) was slightly ahead in the race for Georgia Senate.

Mystal called Walker “clearly unintelligent” and lacks “independent thoughts”. He then continued to suggest that the only reason the GOP put Walker forward is because he will do as he is told by the Republican Party.

“That’s what Republicans want from their Negroes, to do what they’re told, and Walker presents exactly as a person who lacks independent thoughts.”

Full Comment From Elie Mystal:

ELIE MYSTAL: First off, I want to thank the GOP for nominating a football player from Dallas to run in Georgia and a TV doctor from New Jersey to run in Pennsylvania. That’s, [chef kiss]. Thank you, guys.

But it is going to be a close election in Georgia because Walker has the backing of the Republicans. Now you ask why are Republicans backing this man who is so clearly unintelligent, who so clearly doesn’t have independent thoughts? But that’s actually the reason.

Walker is gonna do what he’s told, and that’s what Republicans like. That’s what Republicans want from their negroes: to do what they’re told.

And Walker presents exactly as a person who lacks independent thoughts, lacks an independent agenda, and lacks an independent ability to grasp policies. And he is just going to go in there and vote like Mitch McConnell tells him to vote.

And remember, this has worked for the GOP in the south already. Tommy Tuberville, who right now is probably the dumbest person in the United States Senate. Like all he does is do what Mitch McConnell tells him to do. And so the GOP likes these candidates that aren’t able to kind of think for themselves, because that means — it basically means that Mitch McConnell gets three votes every time he shows up to work, as opposed to just his own.
