Naughty Pauly Forced To Go On D.C. Trip With Nancy Pelosi, Can’t Be Trusted At Home, OPINION

As the media cheers on Paul Pelosi for making his first D.C. appearance since the “Hammer Attack”, which we still don’t know anything about, the rest of us know the real reason Nancy Pelosi started taking Paul on her business trips. Simply put, Paul can’t be trusted on his own.

It seems that every time Nancy’s away, Paul wants to play. Between multiple drunk driving accidents and bizarre playdates, it’s no surprise that Nancy has had enough. Unfortunately for Naughty Pauly, playtime might be over as it appears that he’s now being forced to travel with the speaker of the house.

Paul Pelosi attended the Kennedy Center Honors on Sunday wearing a hat and a single glove, in his first appearance in Washington D.C. since he was attacked at home in late October. Paul Pelosi rarely travels with Nancy, but the media are making it sound like it was a regular occurrence prior to the attack with headlines that read “Paul Pelosi Makes First DC Appearance Since Attack”.

Paul Pelosi was at his wife’s side during the Sunday night event to celebrate this year’s Kennedy Center honorees: singer Gladys Knight, the band U2, actor and human rights activist George Clooney, composer and conductor Tania León, and Christian singer Amy Grant.

The Pelosis were seated next to Vice President Kamala Harris and Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff.

Paul Pelosi could be seen wearing a black-brimmed hat and a black glove on just one hand as he stood to applaud during the ceremony. What’s with the glove? We have no idea, but it’s weird.

Kennedy Center chairman David Rubenstein gave the Pelosis a shoutout while speaking Sunday night, spurring a thunderous standing ovation.

“I would like to single out one member of Congress who has been, for more than several decades, really devoted to the Kennedy Center — and her husband of 60 years who’s here with us as well — Nancy Pelosi,” he said.

The Pelosis grabbed each other’s hands and raised them in a triumphant virtue-signaling gesture during the applause.

The last time Paul Pelosi was left on his own while Nancy was on business, the police were called to Paul’s house to find a half-naked man who opened the door for authorities before allegedly attacking Paul with a hammer.

David DePape, the suspect in the attack on Pelosi, is being held without bail ahead of his trial. He faces state charges of attempted murder, burglary, and elder abuse. He also faces federal charges including the attempted kidnapping of a U.S. official.

The 42-year-old reportedly told authorities he was on a “suicide mission” to kidnap the Speaker — who was in D.C. at the time — and hold her hostage, threatening to break “her kneecaps” if she “lied” however, the story doesn’t add up according to multiple reports even by left-wing media outlets including NBC who was forced to delete what really happened the night of the attack.
