Welcome to the club NBC, but you’re a little late. You, along with the rest of lamestream media, have already lost all credibility. You suppressed the Hunter Biden scandal leading up to the 2020 elections when we all knew the truth. May your ratings RIP.
NBC News is the latest legacy news organization to offer delayed legitimacy to the Hunter Biden scandal after downplaying the revelations from his laptop during the 2020 presidential election.
On Thursday NBC finally published a story worth noting with the headline “Analysis of Hunter Biden’s hard drive shows he, his firm took in about $11 million from 2013 to 2018, spent it fast”. But let’s be honest. This is one of those, you only published the headline because you got CAUGHT, not because you really wanted to. Before NBC published the indirect admission of guilt, several other networks already came out with it, including the NY Post, Daily Mail, Washington Post, Fox, and Politico. CNN? NOTHING.
The NBC article cited documents showing the fortune he made while working for the Ukrainian energy company Burisma, as well as through his business ties to a Chinese energy company. It also aired a package about the story Wednesday on “NBC Nightly News,” which to be honest, I could have probably produced myself at this point.
The report also highlighted some of Hunter Biden’s expenditures showing he “spent more than $200,000 per month from October 2017 through February 2018 on luxury hotel rooms, Porsche payments, dental work, and cash withdrawals.”
Why the change of heart NBC? According to the same report, the liberal news network “obtained a copy of Biden’s laptop hard drive from a representative of Rudy Giuliani and examined Biden’s business dealings from 2013-2018 based on the information available on the hard drive and the scope of the documents released by the Senate.”
Clearly, NBC had a copy of the hard drive all along and still chose to suppress the details of the scandal while other real news agencies like the NY Post came out with the information immediately.
Too little, too late on this story NBC, but will give you a D- for effort because unlike CNN who has yet to utter a single word about the scandal, you at least decided to not look like complete fools.
