Obama’s SUV Parked In Handicapped Space For 2 Hours While Dining With Family

Published on

Rules for thee, not for me! According to The Daily Mail, former President Barack Obama’s Security detail parked their SUV in a handicapped space for more than 2 hours while he enjoyed a meal at a high-end sushi joint in Los Angeles with daughters Sasha and Malia.

Obama was visiting his daughters who recently moved to the West Coast to pursue their careers and education, the Daily Mail reported.

The black SUV stayed in a spot marked for handicap parking as it waited for the Obamas to finish eating at the pricey Hamasaku restaurant, where eight-piece sushi rolls cost $50 and specialty rolls go for more than $20 each.

Obama could be seen waving goodbye to the restaurant staffers and turning down their offer of free ice cream dessert before the agents warned them to stand back as they made their exit.

Malia, 24, moved to LA last year, after graduating from Harvard, to pursue a career as a screenwriter.

In March, Donald Glover revealed that he had given the 24-year-old her first job as a writer on his new series, which is reportedly about ‘a Beyoncé-type character,’ with the actor calling her ‘amazingly talented’ and ‘really focused.’
