Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) told reporters today during her weekly press conference that farmers are asking why we keep “shipping” immigrants up north when we need them down in Florida picking crops.

Pelosi was discussing America’s responsibility to protect its borders but then attempted to justify letting in illegal immigrants. While speaking on the topic Pelosi appeared to agree with remarks made by farmers who were confused as to why immigrants are being sent up North when we have such a labor shortage.

“Right now the best thing we can do for our economy is to have comprehensive immigration reform. We have a shortage of workers in our country and you see even in Florida, some of the farmers and growers say why are you shipping these immigrants up North. We need them to pick the crops down here.

Pelosi, who is completely detached from reality clearly thinks of immigrants as slaves or cattle as she referred to the derogatory term “ship” when speaking about relocating the immigrants down south.
