Loudon County Students Serve Affidavits To School Board During BOE Meeting

Published on

Students during a Loudon County, VA school board meeting who oppose the mask mandates, served the BOE with legal documents on Tuesday. Parents at the meeting can be heard shouting “you’re being served” as the board of education members stood up in an attempt to walk out while the students approached them with baskets full of affidavits.

In retaliation, a board member can be heard addressing the parents and the students informing them that “any documents that need to be provided will be provided to the LCSD staff. They will forward them to us, and we will all receive copies”.

In an attempt to silence the students, a young woman quickly reminded the board that “there is a legal procedure here”, claiming that the board still needs to abide by the legal procedure presented to them regardless of their instructions as to who they should hand the affidavits to.
