As San Francisco runs rampant with homelessness and drugs, parents are becoming increasingly concerned for their children who have to walk home through it on a daily basis.
Citizen Journalist Ricci Wynne filmed a group of grade school students stepping off a bus on Friday to then having to walk through a crowded street full of drug users and criminals. As heroin needles and crack pipes flood the streets, it appears that the children needed to carefully dodge being pricked just to get through the shocking scene.
According to Wynne, the children were getting off the 14 transit line in San Francisco, California on 8th and mission. “This is no back ally this is a main artery in our city that has been hijacked [by] drug dealers and now it is pure filth!” he posted on Twitter.
According to Breaking911.com, San Francisco’s interim district attorney has vowed to take a harder stance against both drug users and dealers, an issue highlighted in the above new viral video showing open drug use downtown in front of children.
Ricci Wynn was later interviewed by CBS SF Bay Area to discuss the shocking encounter.
