Don, just stop. You’re embarrassing yourself, man. Not once, but twice did CNN’s Don Lemon try to stir the pot on his morning show with multiple failed attempts to link climate change to Hurricane Ian.

At one point, the recently demoted CNN host claimed to actually know better than the meteorologist explaining the current conditions of the category 4 hurrician that has already reached the Florida coast.

“Can you tell us what this is and what effect climate change has on this phenomenon,” Leomon asked. The weatherman immediately shot down his attempt to instigate a climate change discussion by exclaiming, “we can come back and talk climate change at another time, I want to talk about the here and now.”

Lemon tried his luck once again by coming back to climate change once the reporter was finished with his analysis on Ian, “What effect does climate change have on this phenomenon that is happening because it seems that these storms are intensifying?”

“I don’t think you can link climate change to any one event on the whole […] to link it to any one event, I would caution against it,” the reporter reiterated hoping to end the climate change conversation in order to stay focused on proving an update to Floridians who needed pertinent information about the storm they are personally facing.

Unfortunately, that answer wasn’t good enough for Lemon or the producers at CNN who were most likely in his earpiece telling him to push the climate change conversation. Lemon ended painfully attempting to claim that he knew better with his final embarrassing comment “Listen, I grew up there. These storms are intensifying, something is causing these storms to intensify”.

This is the second time in less than a week that Don Lemon was schooled on his own show. Just recently a British Buckingham Royal Expert put Lemon in his place after he tried to tell her that reparations are in order from the palace for those nationalities who have been previously colonized, referring specifically to black people. Lemon was ultimately obliterated into stunned silence over the reporter’s response.
